Our Innovation Jumpstart delivers quick-wins. Engage employees as active participants in small-scale workshops to attack a particular problem or challenge. With the Innovation Jumpstart, employees have a voice at the table, and a stake in the outcome. When given the opportunity to contribute, employees step up. Employees appreciate when management trusts them to solve problem.
The Jumpstart is a structured process that consists of two half-day workshops:
- Idea Development Workshop – a half-day session using a structured process, during which a diverse group of employees develop, share and fine-tune ideas for how to do things better. These action-packed, fast-paced workshops provide every participant a chance to be heard without judgement.
- Action Development Workshop – participants from the Idea Development Workshop develop action plans for how to implement the Top 3 ideas. Working in several small teams, participants are challenged to figure out how to pilot an idea quickly and inexpensively.
In the Idea Workshop, participants learn how to develop ideas pertinent to a specific issue, think through ideas, share ideas with others, collaborate in small teams, and prioritize the Top 2-3 ideas from the session. In the Action Workshop, participants learn what it takes to implement their ideas, the coordination and effort required. They also learn how to work in small teams, how to measure impact of their project, and how to present their plan to leadership for resources to move ahead.
